No. Guests simply scan the QR code with any phone camera and upload directly in their browser—no download, no sign-up, no friction.

Is my gallery private by default?

Yes. Nothing is public or searchable—only people with the link can see the gallery. You can also hide it from guests entirely (upload-only), add a password, or change this at any time.

Can I try EventShareCloud for free?

Yes. A free event holds up to 50 photos for 7 days with no credit card required.

What happens to my photos after the event?

Photos are kept for the event's retention period—7 days for a free event, 60 days for a Premium event, extendable by 30 days at a time. You can download everything at full resolution before they expire.

Can I upgrade a free event to Premium later?

Yes. Open the event in your dashboard and choose Make Premium. Your existing photos, QR code and links stay the same; the photo limit becomes unlimited and the event gets 60 days from that moment.
