About People & Profiles
People & Profiles gathers tools and services that put an individual at the centre of a public profile. Some help a founder tell their story. Others host a personal site, show finished work or collect every contact point behind one address. Each listing here has its own fact box: what the product does, who runs it, where to find it and which social accounts belong to it.
Use the subcategories to narrow down. Founder profiles suit biography and company history, personal websites suit a full home on the web, portfolios suit work samples, and link pages suit a single hub of contacts and socials. The page lists everything in those four groups, with filters. Listings appear newest first by default, and you can sort by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so the order reflects what visitors actually chose.

People & Profiles: questions answered
- What belongs in People & Profiles?
- Products and businesses that help someone present themselves online: founder biography tools, personal website builders, portfolio platforms and link hubs. If the product mainly serves a company rather than a person, a different category will probably fit better.
- How do I choose between the four subcategories?
- Pick by the job. Choose founder profiles for biography and history, personal websites for a full site, portfolios for showing work, and link pages for one address that points to everything else. Your listing needs exactly one main category.
- How do I get my product listed here?
- Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from that site, then you check and edit every field before anything goes live. You choose People & Profiles or one of its subcategories as your main category, included free.
- Can a listing appear in more than one subcategory?
- Each listing has one main category, included free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5, which lets a product sit in a second or third group where it fits.
- What should I compare when looking at profile tools?
- Check the fact box first: who runs it, what it does, and which contacts and socials are listed. Then look at how much control you keep over your own content, how easy it is to edit, and whether the address you get is one you can keep.
