- Do I need to buy a device to use I'M SAFE?
- No, the app is completely free and works on its own without any device purchase. Bluetooth SOS Tags and Personal Alarms are optional additions.
- Who can see my location when I share with a Bubble?
- When you share with a Bubble, its members can see your eligible location. Live-location links are different—anyone holding that link can view the location until it expires. Granting your phone's location permission does not automatically share your location; you control when sharing happens.
- Does SOS contact emergency services?
- No. SOS alerts only the Bubble contacts you selected and shares your live location while the alert is active. It does not contact emergency services; if in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
- What is the difference between a Personal Alarm and an SOS Tag?
- Personal Alarms are standalone devices with a loud local siren that work without a phone, app or Bluetooth. SOS Tags are Bluetooth devices that pair with the I'M SAFE app on a smartphone to trigger alerts to selected Bubble contacts.
- Does the app work on iPhone and Android?
- Yes. The I'M SAFE app is available on both iPhone through the App Store and Android through Google Play.
