About

Homepage of GigPaper

GigPaper is a platform that streamlines the freelancer workflow from proposal through payment. Users create proposals with their templates, send plain-English contracts for click-to-accept signing, and generate invoices with line items and tax options. The platform integrates card payments through Stripe, with funds going directly to the freelancer's account without GigPaper taking a percentage.

The service includes time tracking that converts unbilled hours into invoice line items, and automatic reminders for overdue invoices. Clients access documents through clean web pages without creating accounts. All client data, rates, and documents are end-to-end encrypted on the user's device, and everything can be exported free of charge as files, PDFs, or CSV. The platform works on iPhone, Android, and web, keeping all devices synchronized.

Quick answers

Do my clients have to create an account?
No. Clients open a clean web page, read proposals or invoices, and click to accept or pay without any signup, app, or password. Documents can optionally be end-to-end encrypted, and if the client already has a GigPaper account it opens instantly; otherwise they unlock it with a password shared separately.
How much does GigPaper cost?
Two flat plans: Solo is $10/month with 5 active clients and 20 invoices a month, and Studio is $30/month with unlimited clients and invoices plus auto-nudges, estimates, and custom document branding. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial with no card required.
Does GigPaper take a percentage of my invoices?
No. GigPaper never takes a cut of invoices and never holds money. When clients pay by card, funds go directly to the freelancer's own connected account with only the payment processor's standard fee applying.
Is my data private?
Yes. Client books, rates, and drafts are end-to-end encrypted so GigPaper's servers cannot read them. Users can also send fully end-to-end encrypted documents that only the recipient can open.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Yes, always free in one tap. Clients export as a file, documents as PDFs, and history as CSV. There is no lock-in or export fee.
