How does the billboard ranking work?
The billboard is a paid leaderboard separate from community votes. Contribute in US dollars to appear on it.

What you'll see
At /leaderboards/billboard sits a dedicated ranking page. It orders listings by the total money their owners have put in. The page clearly marks it as a paid ranking so visitors know what they're looking at.
How to add a contribution
From your account you can contribute once your listing is live. Sign in and visit /account/listings. Find your listing and select "Upgrades and extras", then enter your amount under Billboard. The minimum is $5 in US dollars.
Contributions stack: each new payment adds to any previous total, and your listing's position reflects the combined sum. Everyone who has contributed remains on the board.
You can also offer a contribution during the submit process, on the plan step.
Kept separate from other rankings
The billboard stands apart. Community votes, Launch of the Week, verification status and Domain Rating are distinct systems—each with its own label. A contribution to the billboard does not affect votes, does not appear elsewhere, and does not interact with promo codes. Visitors see clearly which ranking system is in use.
What the link gives you
Your company name on /leaderboards/billboard links to your own website with a followed link, never nofollow. It is there for life, whatever happens to your place in the ranking. Only two things end it: a take-down of the listing for breaking the rules, or a refund of the contribution.
Questions people ask
- Can I add more money to my billboard contribution later?
- Yes. Each contribution adds to your previous total. Sign in, go to /account/listings, open "Upgrades and extras" and enter a new amount.
- Does paying for the billboard change my community vote count?
- No. The billboard, community votes, Launch of the Week and other rankings are separate systems. Money contributed never affects votes or other leaderboards.
- What currency does the billboard use?
- US dollars. The minimum contribution is $5.
- Is there a website link with a billboard contribution?
- Yes. The board links your company name to your website with a followed link, for life, unless the listing breaks our rules and is taken down or the contribution is refunded.
