How do votes work on Business Listing Info?

Votes require a confirmed account, one per listing, and are never for sale. Limits and checks protect the count.

Updated

Voting eligibility

To vote, you need a Business Listing Info account with a confirmed email address. Votes count only on live launches.

Each person gets one vote per listing. If you run a launch yourself, you can vote for it—but only after you have voted for someone else's first.

Protecting the vote count

A quick human check may appear as you vote. Hourly and daily limits stop abuse. If votes arrive in a suspicious burst, they are flagged and held for review before they are counted.

Votes are not for sale

Votes are a community signal. They sit entirely apart from paid ranking (the billboard), verification badges and factual data such as Domain Rating. Spending money on any paid service does not change your vote count.

Active community members do earn influence, which can give their individual vote more weight. But this influence comes from participation, not payment.

Questions people ask

Can I buy votes for my launch?
No. Votes are a separate system from all paid features. Payment cannot change a vote count.
What happens if votes arrive very quickly?
Suspicious bursts are flagged and held for review. They are not counted until that review is complete.
Can I vote for my own launch straight away?
No. You must vote for someone else's launch first. After that, you can vote for your own.
