Desktop DICOM viewer for research and education on Mac and Windows, featuring MPR, 3D volume rendering, DSA subtraction, DICOM editing, and optional
About

OmniDICOM is a DICOM viewer application for Mac and Windows computers designed for research and education. It provides core viewing capabilities including study comparison, MPR (multiplanar reconstruction) with 2×2 layout, 3D volume rendering with an interactive scalpel tool, and DSA (digital subtraction angiography) cine playback. Users can perform calibrated measurements, edit DICOM metadata, transfer studies via PACS and DICOMweb, and export images, movies, and DICOM files.
The Professional plan adds advanced features including noise reduction (Denoise) for CT, MR, and X-ray images, a processing bench with stacked filters, quantitative analysis tools with ROI statistics and histograms, and filter chain presets. All plans support copying annotated layouts and images directly into PowerPoint slides with embedded series information and measurements.
The application runs entirely on the user's own computer with no image uploads to external servers. Every new installation includes a 14-day free Professional trial. The software is licensed per machine and is intended exclusively for research and educational purposes, not for clinical diagnosis.
