LuxStage is a digital lighting documentation and control platform designed for theatre lighting departments. It replaces traditional paper lighting plans with a centralized digital system accessible via web and native iOS apps. Teams document their lighting setup once, including fixtures, DMX addresses, colors, notes and photos, then access and update the same information across all devices in real time.

The platform enables direct control of ETC Eos lighting consoles via OSC protocol, allowing lighting technicians to operate fixtures from iPhone or iPad during setup and programming. It supports importing existing lighting lists from Eos CSV exports, Excel files or templates, and can extract lighting data from photos and PDFs using AI. The system includes features for creating stage plans with vector drawings, managing setup checklists, exporting complete PDF reports, and tracking changes with automatic backups saved every 10 minutes.

Multiple team members can work on the same production simultaneously, with each person seeing others' presence and changes reflected immediately after saving. The native iOS app is optimized for stage use without requiring a browser, while the web app handles documentation and planning work.

Quick answers

What is the difference between the iOS app and web app?
The web app is the core platform where you create shows and document them. The iOS app is built natively in SwiftUI and runs directly on iPhone and iPad without a browser, optimized for stage use.
Do you need an Eos console to use LuxStage?
No. You can use the plan, photos, notes and drawing features without an Eos console. OSC control of the console requires ETC Eos, and CSV import works when you export your circle list from Eos, though you can also create circles manually.
Can multiple people work on the same plan simultaneously?
Yes. Everyone on the team works with the same data. Only one person edits a show at a time while others watch. To edit, a person requests the show from whoever is currently editing to prevent changes from being overwritten.
How much does LuxStage cost and what happens after the free trial?
One team tests for one month free with no payment required. The trial ends automatically and does not convert to a subscription. After that it costs €29 per month or €290 per year without VAT for the entire team. The apps are free.
