ChainPoints is a Chrome extension that integrates with Google Flights to display the cost of every flight in your credit card points and airline miles. It compares cash prices, direct points redemptions, and transfer partner options to show you the cheapest way to book each flight. The tool supports over 100 credit cards and loyalty programs, calculates the most efficient redemption paths including multi-hop routing, and can combine multiple card balances when needed. Users load their own card balances into the extension with no bank login required, and ChainPoints then runs on Google Flights automatically, displaying live award pricing and transfer routes for each search result.

Quick answers

How do I install ChainPoints?
Add ChainPoints to Chrome from chainpoints.app/install and pin it to your toolbar. Sign in from the ChainPoints icon, then add your cards in the Wallet tab of your account. Open Google Flights and search: a ChainPoints box appears under every flight.
Which browsers does ChainPoints work on?
ChainPoints works on Chrome and any Chromium-based browser including Brave, Edge, Arc, and Opera, but not Safari or Firefox.
How many live searches do I get with each plan?
Free plan includes 5 live award searches per month. Pro includes 10× more live searches. A search counts when ChainPoints fetches live miles for a route. After your plan's monthly limit, flights show an estimate from the algorithm until the count resets on the 1st of each month.
Is ChainPoints safe to use?
Yes. ChainPoints never collects card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates, or bank credentials. It only runs on Google Flights and cannot access your other tabs or browsing. It cannot move your points—every transfer happens on your card's own website done by you.
What cards and programs does ChainPoints support?
ChainPoints supports more than 100 cards including points cards from American Express, Chase, Citi, Capital One, Bilt and Wells Fargo, plus hotel cards from Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham and Choice. The free plan allows 2 card programs, 1 airline program, and 1 hotel program. Pro removes all limits.
