Where do I enter a promo code or use a gift?
How to apply codes in your cart, claim gifts from our team, and what each type of discount covers.
Updated
Entering a promo code
If you have a code, go to /cart and find the field marked 'Have a code?'. Type it in and press 'Apply code'. You'll see the discount shown in the cart, and it stays visible through checkout. You can delete it in the cart if you change your mind.
How codes work
Each code is either a percentage discount or a fixed amount. It reduces your price before tax is applied; VAT, where applicable, is then calculated on the lower total.
Codes may be restricted to:
- Certain products only
- A set number of uses across all customers
- An expiry date
If your cart contains items the code doesn't cover, the cart will tell you. Billboard contributions cannot be discounted, as billboard rankings are based on actual money contributed.
A code will not stack with a gift or offer already applied to an item.
Gifts and offers from us
When our team gives you something free or at a lower price, you'll receive an email with a link. The item also shows at /account/gifts when you sign in using that email address.
Free gifts are added straight to your chosen listing via the 'Use it on' button and function exactly as a purchase would.
Reduced-price offers go through the standard cart and checkout process at your price, plus VAT where due.
Some gifts carry an expiry date, shown next to them. If you don't yet have a listing, create your product first at /submit, then return to claim it.
