What sections on my profile are locked?
Free listings show four sections as locked. Paid launches open them all. Here's what's on file and what appears when you upgrade.

The four lockable sections
Every profile can hold these four sections. On a free listing, they appear as locked:
- Founder story: your background and journey, linked from the listing to a dedicated page.
- Milestones: key dates and steps in your product's development.
- Demo video: a link to your demo.
- Dofollow website link: the link from the listing to your site is a followed (dofollow) link.
Free listings and locked sections
A free listing displays all four sections in a locked state. Anything you enter into these sections is stored on file and becomes visible the moment they unlock. Your website link on a free listing is nofollow.
Upgrading to a paid launch
A paid launch ($5) opens every section. All four become visible and editable, and your site link becomes followed. To upgrade: sign in, visit /account/listings, find your listing and select 'Upgrades and extras'.
Always visible
Your name, tagline, description, features, category, FAQs, social links, logo, homepage screenshot, your own screenshots and comparisons are never locked. Edit these at any time from /account/listings.
Questions people ask
- Can I add content to locked sections before upgrading?
- Yes. Locked sections save what you enter. The content appears as soon as the section opens.
- Which link type do I get with a paid launch?
- A paid launch gives you a dofollow link from your listing to your website.
- Where do I upgrade my free listing?
- Sign in and go to /account/listings. Next to your listing, choose 'Upgrades and extras'.
