Free listing or paid launch?
What you get with each option, side by side.
Updated
The free listing
You get a basic profile published on Business Listing Info. Paid sections—founder story, milestones and demo video—stay locked until you upgrade. None of that applies to your screenshots or comparisons, which a free listing shows openly.
Our badge must be on your website before we publish it. For a free listing the founder profile must be complete too. Your profile will sit in the free queue for about 1-2 weeks. Once live, you'll have a nofollow link to your website. These free pages can be thin, and a thin free page may be kept out of search results until it has enough content.
The paid launch
Pay $5 to go live now or in the week you choose. No badge required. Your full profile unlocks at once—all sections visible—and you receive a dofollow link. Search engines will index your page.
Add-ons let you feature your listing for $19, add extra categories, or choose bundles. For a free listing there is one upgrade, 'Upgrade to a full launch', at $5: it becomes a paid launch and can choose its week.
Upgrade anytime
You can move from a free listing to a paid launch whenever you want. Visit /account/listings to make the change.
Questions people ask
- When does a free listing go live?
- Free listings wait about 1-2 weeks in the queue before publication.
- What's the main difference in search visibility?
- Free listings use nofollow links, and a thin free page may be kept out of search results until it has enough content. Paid launches get a dofollow link and a page open to indexing by search engines.
- Do I need a badge for a paid launch?
- No. The badge is required only for free listings before they're published. A free listing waits for two things, the badge and a complete founder profile.
