How it started
Neil Lock started Zinn Hub together with Natalie Lock and is its chief executive. The software behind it is his work: he designed and built the platform. Neil has more than 25 years of software, search and hosting work behind him.
Why it exists
The point of Zinn Hub is a fairer kind of freelancing, for the people who sell and the people who buy. Sellers begin at 0% commission and keep more of their pay; buyers get vetted people, real guidance and somebody who answers.
What he built
Zinn Hub speaks 46 languages. Briefs, listings, messages and reviews are translated in both directions, and live calls run with captions or a translated voice. There are six payout methods, crypto included, and payouts through a seller's own Stripe or PayPal are instant. KYC checks and vetting come before anyone sells, and platform payments are escrow-protected. Neil also takes free Zinn® Concierge calls, helping buyers scope a project and find the right seller, and buyers can post a project for sellers to pitch on.
Milestones
Zinn Hub was recognised in 2026 as UK Freelance Marketplace of the Year 2026 by 365 Awards and as Best Multilingual Freelance Marketplace in the United Kingdom of 2026 by Best of Best Review.
