How do I write a founder story for my product?
The founder story editor, the rules before publishing, and the pages where a story appears.

One product, one story
A founder story tells how one product came to be, written by a founder of that product. Every co-founder writes a story of their own. Several products means several stories: one per product.
Your story list
Start at /account/founder/story after signing in. Each listing's profile screen in your account also has a 'Founder story for <product>' card that opens the same editor. Your products appear in a list; each says whether its story is not started, a draft or published, with a button beside it. The editor walks you through six guided sections: How it started, The problem, What we built, The hard parts, Milestones and What's next.
Writing
Under the heading 'Founder story: <product>' you answer six questions: how it began, the problem, what you made, what was hard, your milestones and your plans. Your work is saved automatically as a draft. Include up to 4 photos alongside the text. 'Help me word this' only tidies the words you wrote - it does not invent anything.
Publishing
Before a story can be published, your founder profile at /account/founder must be complete, because the story shows your name and photo. Fill in at least 3 sections with 200 words or more in total; keep to 2 links at most and leave out prices and offers.
Readers find it here
A published story has its own address at /launch/<listing>/story/<founder>. That product's listing shows a card linking to it. Because the story is a full-profile section, it is locked on a free listing until that listing is upgraded to a full launch. On your founder profile each product's story is listed; /stories lists them site-wide.
If you wrote one before
An older story covering several products remains your general founder text, and new product stories start from it. If you shared a /founder/<name>/story link, it still works - it leads to the product story, or the founder profile for several. Come back whenever you like, edit, and publish again.
