Access our data via API or MCP
Developers and AI assistants can query listings through a REST API or connect over MCP with OAuth or API credentials.
Updated
REST API for direct queries
The API lives at /api/v1. Its full specification is available at /api/v1/openapi.json in OpenAPI 3.1 format. Use it to search launches, read business profiles and access listing data in your own applications.
Documentation and integration guides are on file at /developers.
MCP for AI assistants
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or other MCP clients to our remote server at /mcp. Once linked, your assistant can search launches and read listings. With permission, it can draft new listing entries and update your existing ones on this site.
How to authenticate
Two methods are available:
- OAuth: Your assistant opens a sign-in page on this site to grant access.
- API key: Generate a personal key from /account/developers. Keys display once only; we store only the hash.
What is not available
Rate limits and daily quotas apply to all API use. Voting is not supported through the API. Charges always occur through this site itself, not your application—the API returns a checkout link when payment is needed.
Questions people ask
- Can my AI assistant update my listings?
- Yes, if you grant permission through OAuth or by providing an API key. The assistant can draft new entries and modify your existing ones on your behalf; anything that costs money returns a checkout link.
- How do I get an API key?
- Visit /account/developers to generate one. It displays once, so store it securely—we keep only a hash of it after that.
- Where is the API documentation?
- Full technical details and examples are at /developers. The OpenAPI schema is at /api/v1/openapi.json.
